Use horizontal strips or a trapezium

The Student has intersections and both rearranged curves but leaves the figure and main integral blank. The Teacher supplies the labelled shaded figure, right-minus-left integral, full endpoint arithmetic and 9 square units; all are integrated into these steps.

Both copies give the alternative trapezium setup. Its final numerical evaluation here is independently authored.
