Recover geometric terms from partial sums

The partial sum is Sn=1a[1−(a−1)n]S_n=\dfrac1a[1-(a-1)^n], where a≠0,1a\ne0,1. Find the nth term unu_n, and prove that SnS_n is a geometric series.
