2025 source arrangements. This section records what the introduction states; it is not a current examination notice.

The source describes two three-hour H2 Mathematics papers, each out of 100 and each worth 50% of the total. Candidates are expected to answer every question.

Paper	Source structure
1	10–12 questions of different lengths and marks, based on Pure Mathematics. One real-world application question, including science/engineering contexts, carries at least 12 marks and may combine topics.
2, Section A	About 4–5 Pure Mathematics questions, totalling 40 marks.
2, Section B	About 6–8 Statistics questions, totalling 60 marks. One application question in this section carries at least 12 marks, may combine topics, and includes real-world science/engineering contexts.
