Use an asymptote family to find when no real roots occur

C has equation y=x2/(x−2)y=x^2/(x-2).

(i) Find the asymptotes. mark

(ii) Sketch C, labelling asymptotes, axial intercepts and turning points. marks

(iii) Hence find the values of k for which x2=k(x2−4)x^2=k(x^2-4) has no real roots. marks
